Position Description
The Senior Associate/Financial Services will be in-charge of audits of financial statements of financial services clients, including hedge funds, private equity funds, broker-dealers, and futures commission merchants
Responsibilities include the coordination, planning and execution of the audit engagement; review of financial statements and required disclosures and supplementary schedules; supervision and development of staff and interns; direct handling of client relationships and working directly with engagement partners and managers.
Basic qualifications
*A successful candidate will have 3-5 years public accounting experience.
*BS in Accounting or Finance
*CPA is preferred or in process
* 0 - 5% travel
Preferred Qualifications
*Strong interpersonal/written communication skills
*Professional presence and attention to detail are imperative.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
*Must think critically, work well independently and be able to juggle multiple tasks.
*Experience within or knowledge of the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
